new record

You should all be so proud, I have blogged more during the month of october than ever before. I promise this won't be a habit. But I figured this being the last day of October might be a good time to just go blahhhhh.

It has been an interesting week. I have been trying to adjust to the new car, which still has no name, but first the weather wasn't cooperating, it rained for 4 days, and since we hadn't had any real rain in months, and the leaves are all over the place, who wants to risk a real drive in a new car in conditions like that. And than the past few days I have been fighting with one of those colds that requires you to sneeze all the time and blow your nose constantly...it's icky. So hopefully tomorrow will be a good chance to get out on the road and bond with the new car, i am sensing a trip to Charleston to eat at Olive Garden in our future, and perhaps we will stop at Target too, it has been 2 months since i've seen a target and that just isn't right...

Ok so what else is going on with us? We have been enjoying raking leaves, I know it will get old real fast, but it has been fun spending the time outside together raking up what seems to be an endless supply of leaves, and then looking up at the tree in the front and thinking oh my it hasn't even started to really drop leaves and we have already picked up 11 big garbage bags worth of leaves...so that will keep us busy until it snows.

Jay has been working a lot this week so we have been ships crossing in the night, which is really no fun. But hopefully it will get better. Other than that, we are getting very excited to get up to Philly and Nisky over thanksgiving, it will be good to have a whole week off, I definitely need it. And we will hopefully get to see a bunch of people, we still have lots of time open so if anyone is around, we would love to see you. We are also starting to think about how quiet christmas is going to be. Jay's family is going to England and my family will be heading to Orlando for new years, and we will be around for christmas week with not much to do...it might be a good break after advent.

We are also gearing up for three weddings already scheduled for march, april and june, all of which will require traveling, so lots of planning to do around that. Other than that not too much has been going on.
