owww and yippie!

So this weekend has definitely been an adventure....i'm just going to give the quick details cause i have pictures of some of the stuff we did, but i figure the real adventuresome part you would want to know about now...

SO jay's parents came in Friday and we had dinner and went to sleep. I woke up around 6 am in a lot of pain, but not so much i couldn't stand it...so we went out on a day of fun around the gorge, i have pictures so will wait to talk about this part of the day until then....Throughout the day, that pain just got worse and worse and worse. Being pregnant and having abdominal pain is a really scary and miserable combination. So at like 9pm i couldn't stand it a second longer and we went to the ER. I was in tears, could barely move...it was miserable. It took them 3 hours to examine me, let me tell you, Jay and i were pissed, i mean something could have been horibbly wrong with the baby, and i think the next time we go to the ER i am going to make a conscious effort to look better, cause i just have this feeling...but not important now...

So I finally go my blood drawn, peed in the cup, which I am getting very good at...and heard the baby;s heartbeat, which after the pain i was in was a huge relief...it was going strong at 160. And then they said we would do an ultrasound, which was a very happy thing. The sonographer was super sweet and showed us the baby, told us what it was....yes we know the answer to that question.... and said everything looked great with the baby...and we got a picture...and then on to the rest of me...no ct scans when you're pregnant, so it took a while, but she got to my gall bladder and started asking if i had ever had problems with it, at which point i started thinking, so thats where the problem is???? i went back to my room it was now 2 am, i'm tired, hungry, thirsty, and the pain just sucks!!!

SO the doctor came in, and said, everything with the baby is great, my blood work was great, everything came back normal. And then she mentioned my gall bladder and all the stones that are in it...and that the pain was probably a stone, yippie. and that if they do a c section, the gall bladder would probably come out then, so they gave me NOTHING and sent me on my way, no medicine, nothing, cause afterall i'm pregnant, so what could they give me.

So it was 3:30 when we got home and jay's parents were due over at 8:30 for breakfast, so it was a really quick sleep, followed by a very long day in a whole lot of pain, and i wake today, better rested but i gotta tell you, the pain, sucks!!!!!

And that was our easter advenutre, but i'll post again soon with other details of the weekend, including some pictures....
