Our thanksgiving adventures

So I am finally getting around to posting pictures of our week away. I took a picture of the trees in the backyard before we left just because they were so pretty, it was a wonderful sight for the month of november...

So our trip consisted leaving around 3 on Monday and heading to Philly. We got there with plenty of time to go to sleep. Tuesday we went our separate directions, i went to have lunch with Cheryl and Jay went to hang out with the guys at work. It was a good time to catch up with others. We then went to Hibatchi with Jay's parents, it was so yummy, we even got one of our favorite chefs....yummy yummy...

We then decided to head to MacDade Bowl with the Ericksons, it was an aweso
me night....jay had his best night of bowling ever!!!!!! In fact we took a picture to prove how wonderful of a game he bowled....

as you can see there are 3 strikes in a row which was preceded by a spare which was actually a strike!!! go Jay!

We had a good time in Philly but it was time to head up to Albany, which we did on Wednesday. We got in town in time for dinner, which was nice, and then we waited up for Mick to come into town. We woke early to see the parade and hung out for a while...it was a good time, we had 14 around the table....

And then black friday, the alarm went off at 4 something and we got to the mall for a 5 o clock opening, Jay and i hit sears because we were looking at a kitchen table which I can say is now assembled in the kitchen. And then headed to meet up with the rest of the fam and check out all of the changes at Colonie Center, that mall is really taking off. It was a good morning. We then headed back to aunt monnie's and uncle bernie's where we found most people fast asleep even though it was now 10, so jay thought that was a good idea and joined them....

We then got to go and see Vicky and family, which was wonderful....
her little boy turned 2 earlier in the week and was such a delight to be around...and they had a new kitten so it was definitely the opportune time for a picture....It was so cute, Aidan wanted to snuggle with mommy and Cole the kitten kept finding whatever left over room there was, it was too cute, i don't know if Vicky was enjoying it, but I certainly did.

After that we went and met up with Becca at yet another mall and hung out there for a little which, it was nice of her to make the extra trip out to see me...

We had dinner with my family Friday night and then headed to bed because we wanted to be on the road early the next morning, so we decided to meet up with some people for breakfast at brueggers so we could get some bagels to take with us, and it was a nice way to end the trip up there....

We then headed back down to Philly to have our 4th thanksgiving dinner, this time with Jay's family. We got some good hangout time with Anna and his parents a

nd then we went to see Enchanted which was fun. We went to church Sunday morning, hung out with a few people and stoped in Media real quick to get some things we needed and then we hit the road and got back into Beckley late Sunday night....it was a great trip.

Granted I think we came back more tired than when we left. And we both came back to insanely crazy weeks, so that was our thanksgiving trip to philly, albany, and philly....great time, it would have been great to see more people but we just couldn't find another single moment, hopefully next trip we will get to see some of the people we missed on this trip....
