anniversary

So yesterday was our anniversary, we both decided that what we wanted was to actually spend time with each other. So i took a vacation day, and Jay did his best, having only to work from 8am to noon. So we got the whole day (basically) together.

We had our traditional dominos pizza. It is a tradition because on our wedding night we got back to the apartment and realized we hadn't actually eatten anything so we ordered a pizza, and we have done so every year. So we enjoyed that while watching the simpsons movie and working on our gift to you the youth who are coming over tonight for a christmas party. It was a fun couple of hours.

We then headed to Kohls to pick a couple of things up for someone and then hit the grocery store, this christmas party shopping thing is getting a little old. But i think we are done with the grocery store for 2007. But we'll see. And then we headed home put everything away and cleaned up the house a bit before heading out to Hibachi for dinner. It was yummylicious and our favorite place to eat, and we had been getting take out lately so it was the first time we had actually been inside in 6 months. So it was a nice treat.

We then headed home. It was a wonderful anniversary. What greater gift than to spend the day together, especially during the advent season which has been crazy busy for both of us, it was nice to have a day together. So we are now on 3 years and one day...yippie....
