So I just thought I would throw out a random posting. We had our 38 week appointment today, with our due date a week and a half away we were definitely excited. For the past 5 weeks or so, i've just been in a lot of pain, between these braxton hicks contractions, and cramping, and leg pain and some serious pelvis problems, it has just been ridiculous. So we were somewhat hopeful that at least the pain was productive, unfortunately, no go. Weight gain has stopped, which is normal, granted i haven't really gained that much anyway. Blood pressure is good, baby's heart rate is good. She is measuring big still, but i think she is just an active baby. The internal exam told us that the baby hasn't dropped, not dialated, and no real thinning yet, so basically, this baby is perfectly content to hang out for a while...which is ok, i was just a little frustrated leaving the drs today, i was really hopeful that at least some of the pain was productive, but really, for me, not that unusual. So that is where we are. And now that the temp has gone up again, I am really ready for fall.
Other than that, classes for Jay are good, his piano students have been a bit of a pain, but hopefully come next week a routine can be re-established. Rally day is this Sunday, so lots to continue to do to get ready for that, and yep, we continue on with life as usual, waiting for the moment life changes forever.

oh no... be hopefully - that could change ANY day!!! have they said anything regarding inducing after your due date if you don't go by then or not yet? maybe you will make rally day!
