We had all the youth over to watch the super bowl on Sunday. It was nice to watch a Giant's victory with others....but the youth were nice enough to pose for a picture....
On the Saturday before the game, we gathered at the church to paint a room in the basement that is going to be used as a contemporary service location....it was great fun getting together to paint again.....and they did a fantastic job!
And then to go along with the newly painted room, Jay began having rehersals for the praise team which he is leading up, he although sick, enjoyed being able to play again....it was a good time
That basically sums up what we have been up to. Lent is officially underway, Janice preached Ash Wednesday which was a new experience. And given up for Lent this year is having conversations via text messaging. But rest assured, next week, Janice will be on the phone A LOT, so expect phone calls starting on Tuesday...and sorry for the lack of phone calls for the last, say 3 months, phone time has not happened, just ask my mom, she can't get me for more than 10 minutes these days, but i promise to call people next week!!!!!!!!!!
