not too much going on

So, I have wanted to post a new blog, but haven't really had anything to say. Our lives have been pretty dull lately. I mean the most exciting thing I can tell you is that we are in the process of re-reading the 5th Harry Potter book so we will be all refreshed when we go see the movie tomorrow. And we of course are both excited and sad about finally reading the 7th book, we both have ideas on how it will end and who will live and who will die, we aren't sharing those thoughts at the moment, but trust me the conversations have been lively. And that just about sums up our lives right now...ok maybe i can think of more to share...

Jay has registered for three classes for the fall with a possible 4th. 2 of which are right here in town which means he will only have to drive the 30 minutes twice a week which is nice. Jay has also undergone major dental work...in the last month he has had three teeth removed with two more slated for sometime this month, he has had a deep tooth cleaning where they numb the mouth pretty good and clean it all out, and then he has a root canal or two in two weeks. So needless to say his mouth has not been very happy for a while, but hopefully things are under control now and the dentist will stop getting our money soon.

As for me, i really haven't been up to much, things at church are going well, a little quieter than they were in June, but that wouldn't take much. A few activities planned for the rest of the month, but nothing too crazy. Starting to really plan the fall both with youth and with the campus ministry aspect of my job. So come fall life will definitely be busy, but fun. I have been a horrible friend for the past month, i have talked to one person one time since the end of May and that was earlier today. June was crazy and well none of us really put any effort into being in touch...so yeah, i think that is all that is going on with me.

The rest of our summer should be good...we will be heading up to Nisky from July 30th to August 3rd to visit with family and friends (if you are in town let me know). And then we are going to try to go to the shore for labor day, i think it should work out, but ya never know. And that is what we are up to...
