lots to do in 2 days

It is hard to believe this little girls life is going to change completely in just 2 days. And oh the stuff we need to get done. It is very different having a definite deadline this time, with Ella everyone said she would be early so we had everything done way ahead of time in case that was true. Which of course it wasn't, but with Lily we know she will be here no later than 2 days from now. And sure we are ready enough, but still a bunch of stuff on the really really really would like this done before the house gets invaded by people list.

We are spending a lot of time trying to prepare Ella for the massive change that is about to take place, and perhaps her clingyness this week is a sign that she might be picking up on something. I think she will be a great big sister, but I really don't think she is going to do well while i'm in the hospital. She doesn't do well when she doesn't get enough mommy time during the day, so I can't even imagine how she is going to handle no mommy time at all. But such is the reality especially of a csection. Perhaps mommy is more concerned than Ella.

She is my growing goose, she is really a communicator, she carries full conversations with people. She loves to sing, although usually it is a combination of Twinkle Twinkle, Baa Baa Black sheep and row row row your boat all in one song, she does however know all of row your boat, it's just funny. She gets to the end of a song and she gets louder and louder and sticks her hands out for the big finish, I don't know where she picked that up, perhaps too much reality tv like americas got talent...who knows....

When we went to the park a few weeks ago Ella went from holding hands down the slide to doing it all by herself and she loved it! She went up the stairs across the jungle gym and down the slide over and over and over and over and over again. I do have video, but lets face it, I have no idea how to share that with you. Just trust me, it was precious.
