Hi all, i wanted to share with you a portion of what i wrote for the church's weekly newsletter this week, the part that is missing is a great big thank you...so i will add that to this post before the copied and pasted portion...thank you one and all for your love and support through the last few months, it is hard to believe how fast/and how slow time seems to be going. But now happy reading, unless you have already read this and then, i don't know...
"Just an update for one and all on the progress of this pregnancy. This week marks week 34, so roughly 6 weeks to go, bringing the due date to mid-September or around or about September 14th. Eleanor Hope Tiedeck will be her name (unless we discover that the ultrasound was wrong, oh well). We have chosen this name not only because Eleanor represents a favorite great aunt of Janice’s and Hope represents Jay’s grandmother’s name (and countless other family members we have since learned about) but also because of the meaning of the name. Eleanor means “God is light” and Hope not only as a symbol of advent, but also of all the love and emotions and dreams we have for her, and the person God is preparing her to be.
We are so excited to be sharing this experience with all of you and we look forward to the coming weeks, much like waiting during advent for Christmas, our Hope is in prayers for a happy and healthy baby. And we thank you for your prayers and your love. Thank you."
