yup a blog

I updated the blog, aren't you all so proud? Granted, I'm assuming people are actually still reading this thing...hmmm....I wonder....

Anyway, not too much going on with us. Jay's parents came down for 2 weeks and his dad built us a beautiful deck on the back of the house, now we can actually sit outside!!!! It is really nice to have it and we couldn't thank them enough.

Ella is still healing beautifully and doing great. She is a talker, I mean full sentences of at least 4 words. It is impressive to hear her carry on actual conversations with people. She loves to jump and dance and use her potty and drink from a cup without a lid, she is definitely growing up so fast!

Lily is also growing rapidly, 29 weeks already, hard to believe she will be here soon and we have no idea how we are going to set up the house for 2, but hopefully we still have plenty of time to figure that out. Right now we are focusing more on how to make Lily's entrance into the world as exciting and joyful as Ella's. Lily seems to be getting lost in the hustle and bustle of life especially with Ella's surgery and all. We are trying to be much more aware of her and how she will have her very own special place in the world. Perhaps we will throw her a party before she gets here, just so she can have one, Ella had 2. Who knows, but we know we need to be aware of trying to make them both special and unique, both getting the same excitement and joy...any ideas???

Other than that, Jay is preparing to start a full load semester in a couple of weeks and we are debating the daycare thing for Ella.
