So 2 weeks ago, we had to take Ella to Charleston for some tests, she had to have an ultrasound of her kidneys done and an xray test where they shoot a die in to your bladder and xray while you pee. All of this was to determine if her urinary tract infection was something more serious or if it was just random. It turns out she has bladder reflux, which means when she pees it doesn't all come out and some goes in to her kidneys. On the scale of 1-5 she is a 3, which means she already has some kidney damage from this and that it might not go away on it own. So we need to take her to a pediatric urologist, which we will do when we are in Philly in 2 weeks. Until then and after that she will be on a low dose antibiotic everyday for possibly years. As for the picture, trust us we questioned ourselves when we took it, we were very saddened that they make hospital gowns this small, and our hearts broke for those children who need to wear them. But this is part of Ella's journey and her growing up, so we took the picture....

Moving along...we took Ella to town center the other day and she LOVED the fountain, it was a hot day and the wind was blowing the cool water all over her, it was so much fun.

And again she loves her kitty

Ella is also battling an ear infection right now and wasn't sleeping so good for a couple of nights, this picture reminded me so much of Ella's first couple of weeks of life. It is just so sweet seeing them together.
