It is so hard to believe that Ella is now 8 weeks old, which also means that maternity leave has come to an end. It hasn't been as hard as i thought to go back to work, but i have the great fortune of living close enough to work that i can run home during the day, for Ella has not yet met a bottle, which means I get to see her at least every 2 or so hours!!!! So it really isn't too bad. And when I'm not home with her Jay is, or friends who have already spent a great deal of time with her. So all in all we have a pretty wonderful set up right now.
But it certainly was a busy week. Ella got to go to her first presbyterian women function and then later that same day she got to go to the mall for the first time. We had to go pick Jay up from work so she got to see where daddy works. And today she laughed for the first time...it was a truly wonderful joy filled sound.
Pictures were lighter this week, but I will put some up either tomorrow or Sunday.
