Jay turns 29!

So this past Wednesday was Jay's birthday...I forgot to mention in the last post, that after the wedding my brother returned with us to WV to hang out for a little while, unplanned but a good thing...
We went to Thurmond, seeing as how it is beautiful but also has some of the historic pull that my brother enjoys...but as always we took pictures of each other instead of the rest of the town...

My brother and I posed, my face looks miserable, i think i much have been squinting or something....

Nathaniel was nice enough to take our picture on the train bridge, there was a train parked on the bridge that made me think of my house in Collingdale and of the night Becca and Amanda and I climbed on to the Tropicana train...that was fun times....

We then stopped at a water fall we passed on the way to the bridge and attempted to get a picture of all 3 of us...it kind of worked...

The rest of Jay's birthday was spent heading to the New River bridge which is always exciting, but 178 stairs when 21 weeks pregnant really wasn't the best idea in the world....and then Jay and I both had to head to work...but we went out to Outback last night to get him a decent birthday dinner...

It has been a good week with my bro in town, the boys got a lot of yard work done and hopefully can get some other stuff done....I went to the doctor on Wednesday as well, that was the usual rapid appointment that makes you wonder, really what's the point. But things are still good, the heart beat was great. We go again in June which will be a quick appointment but then our July appointment will be a little more involved, it will be time for my glucose test and my rhogam shot, so that should be a ton of fun. We tried to get an official ultrasound but for some reason this place just won't work with us....we had the one done in the ER which showed everything to be fine, but i mean it was 2am i was in excruciating pain and couldn't see anything, and it didn't really have that excited feel, but we will be happy that things are going well, and one isn't required...

And that is basically what we have been up to...this coming week might be a little crazy, this Sunday is confirmation Sunday and then Jay starts elder training, and we will begin the process of prepping for a week away. Oh I forgot to mention, when we saw my mom last weekend, she gave us our shower present because it was larger and made more sense than waiting for us to go to NY when the car will be much more full...she got us the SUV of strollers...no really, there are the ones that do everything and then there is this one that can do anything, go anywhere, fit anywhere, carry anything, and still look pretty stylish...Jay had a blast showing off how it worked to anyone who entered the house this week...

Ok that's really it....
